Hi Christine, I just wanted to take the time to thank you for our little Mollie. I was a bit nervous getting a dog over the internet but Mollie is everything I hoped she would be. She has fit right into our family and we all love her so very much. It is very entertaining to watch her and Bailey play. He is a giant compared to her but they are well suited for playing together. I call her my kitty dog because the minute I sit down to read or whatever there she is to cuddle on my lap. Yet she has absolutely no problem keeping up with us on our hikes...in fact she is a little bush wacker...racing through the forest always chasing a little bird or butterfly!
Mollie keeps getting better and better and is VERY loved!
Thanks again Tracey L
Hi Christine,
I hope you and your family and dogs are doing well. It has been awhile since I updated you and passed on some pictures of Holly's puppy Maya (aka Taboo) from her May 19, 2007 litter. We want to thank you again for giving us the privilege of having Maya. We cannot believe that nearly four years have passed since we picked her up at the airport.
Maya is such a cuddly, loving, sociable, and extremely sweet dog. She definitely has a spunky, energetic side as well and will never turn down the opportunity to go for a walk or run around. She can jump very high (past my nose and I am 5'6!). She hardly ever barks, although she is leery of new people, particularly men for some reason. Maya absolutely loves to people watch outside of our upper window that overlooks the street. She will stand there forever, watching people, never barking. She has the softest fur, which she gets endless compliments on, although we have to brush it everyday otherwise it will mat (worth it though!). Her spots have turned charcoal grey, and she has beautiful grey speckles as well. We think it is adorable because her pawpads and roof of her mouth are spotted and although most of her nails are white, one is black and one is half black and half white. She is 13.5 inches tall and, despite the fact that she LOVES food and treats, is just shy of 12 pounds. Maya is most definitely very food motivated. Her favourite time of the day is definitely dinner, although her walks are a close second.
I could go on and on about Maya. We just wanted to let you know how very happy we are with her.
Thanks again,
Ashley and Matt
Hey Christine,
Here are some pictures of Cora (now Luna) that we thought you'd like to see. Everyone who's met her falls instantly in love, it's hard not to. She is so amazing and is doing really well with training. We can just see how well socialized she was when she was with you as she takes just about anyone or anything in stride. Thanks so much and take care,The Wild family.
Hi Christine!
Just wanted to send you a quick update on our puppy! He is doing fantastic and we are so in love with him! He's so happy all the time and has lots of energy! We start puppy classes on Wednesday so we are looking forward to that and getting him more socialized! He has his hair cut a week or so before this picture. His fur is soft and fluffy and curly! Teeth are starting to fall out too. Thank goodness! He is a lot of fun and don't know what we did before him!
Jen, Kyle and Benny!

Hi Christine:
Pictures of my furry babies. Penny is HUGE. She is about 8 pounds and is as tall as Bailey at the shoulder. Her legs are so long and she has such a proud dainty way of walking on those long legs that she looks like she is dancing. Her first vet visit went very well and she was pronounced to be a "very nice puppy". The vet was especially impressed with her bite, specifically the placement of her teeth.
She has also been to doggy day care and loves it there. They put her in the small dog puppy group and she gets to jump on as many puppies as she wants. Apparently, she loves it. Bailey enjoys the break from her when she goes on Mondays, but doesn't like her playful jumps when she gets home as she needs about a day to remember not to jump on him.
As you can see in the picture, things are going a bit better. She loves Bailey and follows him and tries to do everything that he does, including climb in his bed or kennel with him. He tries to tolerate this as long as she is calm about it, like she is in this picture, but as soon as she gets too physical he snarls, barks and tries to discourage her. We let him bark and snarl at her but she doesn't quite get that he isn't playing so most of the time we remove her once he starts trembling or if he runs to me to get away from her. I am not discouraged though. She is a very smart puppy and will get the hang of it as she grows and matures, I am much more sure of this than before.
I must tell you of her unique talent. We have raspberry bushes in our back yard and for years, Bailey comes picking with me, carefully catching all the ripe ones that fall off the bushes as they are moved about in the picking process. Or if I put my bucket down, he will start eating right from the bucket. I thought this was very smart until I saw what Penny does. She looks up into the bush and picks the low hanging ones for herself. She doesn't wait for them to fall, she just gently pulls with her front teeth and pulls off the berries and eats them. Now that Bailey has seen her do this, he does it too.Thank you again for two wonderful dogs.

_____________________________________________________________Hi Christine,
Charlie's only boy pup you named Banzo has been with us for 2.5 months. He has been a bright spot in our family and constant entertainment. We named him Enzo after the canine narrator from my favorite book, The Art of Racing in the Rain.
Enzo is a very smart dog. He house trained quite quickly. We caught him in the act a few times, rushed him outside and within a week he was asking to go outside. He started out sleeping in his crate in our room. In the first weekend he was with us he would wake and we'd take him outside once in the night. In the next week he started sleeping through the night. He was and remains an early riser but that's when I get up and we snuggle together before the house wakes up.
He is incredibly social, a byproduct of everyone that sees him and wants to snuggle him. He seems to think everyone wants to snuggle him and seems offended when he is ignored by anyone walking by. He gets along great with all the dogs he meets. We go to the beach behind our house most days where he gets some freedom. His favorite at the beach is doing what I call 'speed laps', where he runs like crazy in one direction, stops abruptly, snorts and turns to run back. Actually when he gets excited he does 'speed laps' anywhere. Last week he was exploring close to the water's edge and the sand dropped off. He went swimming for the first time. I got to him quickly but he was dog-paddling and he pulled himself out of the water before I had to get my shoes wet. He was a bit stunned but I don't think it scared him. He kept on exploring, but a bit further up the beach.
Since he is a curious pup he sometimes wanders away exploring but he comes rushing back to me when I call him. He has proven to be quite bright learning to sit and stay, come when asked (most of the time) and wait for his dinner bowl until it's on the ground. We have teenagers and Enzo loves hanging out with them. He's quite patient as their friends pass him around for snuggles. We have friends with smaller children that have come by and Enzo is great with them as well.
Overall I wanted to let you know that Enzo is a happy dog with a great life and has made a bright spot in our family. As you can see, he is beautiful. It is less obvious in pictures but he has beautiful hazel eyes that everyone comment on.
Hi Christine,
Happy holidays! I wanted to give you another update on Geo, as it has been a year since I last wrote you. Now almost 2 years old and fully grown, Geo stands 14" at the shoulder and is a solid 22 lbs- quite a bit heavier than the 17 lbs you predicted! His vet tells us he has almost no body fat, and is very muscular from all the running he does. His fur has lightened considerably in the last year, particularly his ears and the top of his head. We still get comments all the time about how great his markings are, and we get stopped all the time by people when we're out with him because he's so cute, as you can see from the attached photos. Facially, he looks very much like Bella, and from your description of her disposition on your website, I think his personality is a lot like hers too.
Geo had a great summer. He took a beginner agility course in the spring, which he excelled at. He went on his first ever vacation, and loved the beach and swimming in a lake. He also got to go on many exciting walks and hikes. He has his very own kiddie pool which he likes to wade around in when it's particularily hot. Any time spent outdoors and offleash is a good time in Geo's book, unless it's raining, in which case we're lucky to get him to go outside at all. He does enjoy curling up on the couch for a long nap too, and loves a good cuddle. He continues to enjoy time spent in the park with his friends, and the food-based enrichment and puzzle games we play at home.
Geo has a very strong attachment to his human family, and seems to enjoy their company even more than the company of other dogs. He follows me everywhere, both inside and outside of the house. He's my loyal boy, always at my heels, wanting to be included and involved in everything I do. He's incredibly socially intelligent, and has an almost eerie ability to understand us when we talk to him. He has truly become a cherished member of our family.
Hope this email finds you and your family well.
Cheers,Becky
